A delicious recipe for cauliflower gratin with parmesan and raw ham, it is an ideal accompaniment to your grilled meats and roasts, or simply on its own with a good lettuce.

Ingredients for 4 persons :

  • 1 cauliflower
  • 2 slices of raw ham
  • 40g butter
  • 2 tbsp. tablespoon flour
  • ½ liter of milk
  • 80 g of Parmesan (grated).

> Wash the cauliflower then divide it into small florets.

> Cook it in boiling salted water for about 10 minutes. Drain well and place the bouquets in a gratin dish.

> Cut the ham into very thin strips and sprinkle the florets with cauliflower.

> Put the butter to melt over low heat. Off the heat, add the flour. Mix well then, still off the heat, pour in the milk and cook the bechamel sauce over low heat, stirring regularly with a wooden spoon.

> When cooked, after about 10 minutes (thickened but smooth), add the Parmesan and then coat the cauliflower.

> Place in the oven grill for about 5 minutes.

> No need to salt, the ham and Parmesan will take care of it.
